Either way, money is tight these days, and you may have been putting off purchasing the popular office suite and using a less “free” suite that doesn’t have all of the features of Microsoft Office. Luckily, you also have the option to pay once for Office, paying $149 for Office for the cheapest version of the suite. You’ll be required to pay that subscription price into infinity or for as long as you want to access the Office suite. Microsoft’s “Office 365” Personal (one user) subscription will set you back $69.99 per year ($6.99 per month), while a 365 Family (up to 6 users) subscription is $99.99 per year ($9.99 per month). If you have the need for Microsoft Office for your Mac, you may have been discouraged from buying a license due to the high price of purchasing it or “renting” it through a subscription from Microsoft. The pandemic has forced many of us to work from home, requiring many of us to change the way we work, while “going it alone” when it comes to purchasing software and other tools we need. Things have changed over the last few years.
